Happy Holidays!!

Happy holidays everyone from Green Tea Photography! I hope everyone is happy & healthy this Christmas season. New Years Eve is just around the corner.. and there are some exciting events to cover in the New Year! Green Tea Photography is looking, excitedly, into the near future. January will be the busiest yet! Family shoots seem to be very popular right now... it's a nice gift for family & friends, even after the holiday season. It's great to give any time of the year.

Photoshoot - Boudoir, Just in Time for Christmas!

Green Tea Photography had a great boudoir photoshoot today! Just in time for Christmas! I bet the lucky guy will be VERY happy :)   No need to be shy... let the inner model shine through, when you know it's for his (or her) eye's only. A relaxed, comfortable atmosphere is created in the comfort of your own home. Obviously I am not posting a sample photo from this shoot, however she looked beautiful!

Exciting Times Ahead!

I am happy to report that business is taking off! Thanks to all of you.
Green Tea Photography has quite a few advance bookings at this time :)  I'm excited there will be a few surprises as well! Can't wait!
Also happy to say that indoor photography in low light will not be an issue... Green Tea Photography loves natural lighting whenever possible but now has the ability to capture those special low light occasions with soft diffused flash. Oh, and soft flash hides those lil'lines and imperfections, not that you have any! ha.

phew! Who knew this could be so tough...

ha! Who knew this could be so tough. Creating a blog, that is. So many colours and designs to choose from. A glass of red wine, doesn't help. Ok, fine, 2 glasses. I'm excited to say that I've officially been in business for a few weeks and I have 10 bookings. Very exciting! Thank you all for being so kind, supportive and for sending me spell check tips. haha ;) Only 1 word so far! woot.
So far, the main sessions Green Tea Photography will be doing are, family, children and couples. I was hoping to use the amazing fall light and leaves, but they appear to be leaving us quickly! Snow is falling outside. Before you get nostalgic.. remember we are in Vancouver.... and the city shuts down when it snows! My prairie days come in handy to not panic... however my other job is at the airport.... so not good with snow! Wish me luck. In all avenues. xoxo

Welcome to my photography blog!

Hey everyone! Welcome to my photography blog.  I will be updating this blog through photographs and cute stories from Green Tea Photography's bookings & travels! As I said, under the title of this blog, Green Tea Photography believes whole heartedly in using natural lighting, angles and capturing candid moments.

My photography is very rarely retouched. The angles you see in my photographs are the angles I took in my camera. I'm not a huge believer in photoshop although I respect it has it's time & place. I do use, iPhoto on my mac however, which has some great options in delivering a professional finished product. The odd wrinkle retouch doesn't hurt anyone right? ha!
